Autumn Eve

The most endearing friend that we all share, and the relentless adversary that shadows us , is the very residence by which we conduct our lives: Time. It is the foe that we all try to outrun, the echo of our dearest memories, and our weary companion after a long journey through this life. Some of us may think life is too short, and others believe that forever is too daunting.

However we may feel or think about time, one thing is surely certain, it affects us at our very core. It’s effects are so confounding that many of us have come up with delusions and superstitions surrounding its nature in order to give us meaning. Whether it’s an afterlife that reassures us of our relevance, or hopes of eternal life so that we may never miss a moment, it is our experience of the time we have in our lives that makes everything around us meaningful. Every day we are on the eve of realizing our last seasons, our last nights, and how beautiful they all are.

Hopeful Things

We all my wonder at times what exactly is hope. Many of us want it in some fashion or another, and all of us need it, whether we realize it or not is another story entirely. Our lives are built from memories, experiences, friends, lovers, sadness, joy and so many other facets that we sometimes forget its foundation: Hope. What brings us to have the courage to venture out into tomorrow, to plan for a better day, to dream that all things are possible, not only for us, but for our loved ones and also for those whom we hope to love. Hope is all the things that we hold closest to us, let it be a stepping stone that brings us stronger out of grief and pain, and let it be the gates that brings us through to waking dreams and love’s subtle warmth.

Withering Patterns

Of all the paths that we take in life, there is always a time before each great love, the part where we are overwhelmed with another’s adoration, and sometimes, there is the great pain that comes losing the one you thought was going to be there forever. It’s a path of patterns that we all take, a pain that we all need, and each time, the scars of love withers away as we come closer to finding the person that will stop the patterns. A great love that when we close our eyes, they are there, always and forever. These are the trials of choosing a path that will help wither those patterns away, Withering Patterns.

We Start With Pain and End Proud

We don’t realize what we are doing until it is done. We search for someone to stimulate love, to make us feel like we belong in their world; in many ways our belonging brings a sense of order in our own lives, a chaos to be reckoned with. We continue forth upon the trials that love delivers us, and with logic forward do we create a mockery. Then our love is gone, for reasons that trivial, for reasons that are profound. Solemn and with respect for a new kind of invocation, a romance with pain. We always keep close to us after that loss a new consciousness of strength and will; a new foundation and realization that We Start With Pain and End Proud.
